Cette série revisite de manière romanesque le motif Liberty qui a fait de ce motif fleuri l'identité Seventies de Cacharel. L'intimité est mise en scène à la limite du camouflage. Les corps se retirent peu à peu, disparaissent sensiblement au risque de se métamorphoser en tapisserie et de se dissoudre dans l'espace onirique comme stratégie de survie.
This series romantically revisits the Liberty motif that made this floral motif Cacharel's Seventies identity. Intimacy is staged at the limit of camouflage. The bodies gradually withdraw, disappear noticeably at the risk of metamorphosing into tapestry and dissolving in the dreamlike space as a survival strategy.

J'inscris à chaque fois mon travail dans l'histoire de l'art en interrogeant plus spécifiquement la question des genres picturaux. A travers la réappropriation du motif Toile de Jouy, je mêle Le Portrait à la Scène de genre dont est issu à l'origine ce tissu. D'abord tissée pour des vêtements, la Toile de Jouy se transforme rapidement en revêtement décoratif, ce que j'utilise ici pour raconter d'autres histoires en y superposant d'autres réalités féminines à fleur de peau.
Each time I inscribe my work in the history of art by questioning more specifically the question of pictorial genres. Through the reappropriation of the Toile de Jouy motif, I mix Le Portrait with the Genre Scene from which this fabric originally originated. First woven for clothes, the Toile de Jouy quickly turns into a decorative coating, which I use here to tell other stories by superimposing other feminine realities on the edge of the skin.
